The "Cookie" has a great race in Philly!

The guys had the bottom 1000m of their lives as they moved from 6th at halfway to 5th at 750m and then into third with a sprint that started near the 600m to finish third 0.1 seconds ahead of UVA who finished 4th. We appreciate the support RS and Chris provide to Western rowing and were happy to race in the Cookie it was truly part of our great result. Cheers

RegattaSports' very own RunGirlRun girl - Rae Heim

Rae Heim is Lesleh Anderson-Heim's daughter. Lesleh is a longtime friend and our US Sales Manager for RunGirlRun (RegattaSport's running line). Rae started her run across the USA in April - she's currently in PA - pictured here crossing the Shanksville memorial site where a plane went down on 9/11. Rae will also be running the Pittsburgh marathon May 6. Visit our facebook page to find out how you can support Rae on her journey and for the charity she is running for Soles4Souls foundation! YUP - suitably, she is running barefoot!

Old Soles, made of Chris Cookson, Joe Camillo, Pierrick Absolonne and Paul Holmes lost of few toe nails and gained some really good blisters while raising over 2,500 to support Oxfam!

Cookson's hiked 100km for charity!

Chris and Tracey set out to hike 100KM Friday, July 23/24. Oxfam Canada held their "Team of 4 in 48 hours" trailwalker challenge in Barrie, ON. The Cookson's took part with a goal to finish in under 30 hours by hiking through the night. Tracey encountered a struggle at 70km (2:30am) and had to call it quits but recovered enough to walk the final 100m with her team so all crossed the finish line together. Chris found this to be harder than running a marathon! The Cookson team of 4, including Michelle (Tracey's sister) and her husband Tony finished in 26.5 hours! Well below their goal! Way to Go Team! Thank you to ALL who donated to Oxfam Canada - together we will make this world a better place!

Chris runs his first Marathon!
